Caden's Friend Party

Caden got to have his very first friend party this year. He invited Jay and Conner from our neighborhood, Jagger from preschool, Bentley from dance, and Camden, his cousin.

We had spider relay races and played with Spiderman balloons.
Then we opened presents. Caden was spoiled with a lot of cool toys.
We went on a treasure hunt around the house and found surprises like pencils, erasers, and air heads that Spiderman left for everyone.

The last clue of the treasure hunt led us to the garage where there was a Spiderman pinata.

After a few good hits, we started to wonder if this was the best game. Poor Spiderman. I hope this image didn't scar any of the kids.
When the pinata finally broke, the kids ran to get a lot of candy.
Then we had birthday donuts. We sang to our little buddy and then he blew out all five of his candles.
Brynnli takes every opportunity to give a "Good game Jones" to Tracy.
After Caden's friend party we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and the Jones Family. Caden picked, "The Enchilada"
He also got his very own fried ice cream.

And his birthday fun was just beginning!

March Leftovers

Hey remember that one time you and your mom showed up to the soccer game wearing the same shirt? We must have the same great fashion sense.

We went shopping with the kids one day and they had a blast posing with the mannequins. They must think the purpose of shopping is to pose and ask me to take a picture.

Brynnli found this mannequin and asked me to take a picture. Too funny!
Daddy really liked this mannequin too... obviously.
I took the kids to get haircuts and only one of them turned out cute: Caden. He looked so stinkin handsome with his new haircut.
Makayla, on the other hand, looked like she had the female version of a mullet.
So I took her to another place and had to get it fixed.

Daddy tries so hard to stay awake during books and movies with the kids, but he usually looks like this:
You know you've been married for a long time when you scroll through your pictures and find you make the same facial expressions.

We must have been bored this night if our entertainment was taking pictures of the other person taking pictures.
We celebrated Ryan's birthday and we asked the server to embarrass him for his birthday song. I think they did a great job.
We inherited a hand-me-down tramp from Darren and Meg and the kids absolutely love it! I love when I can just send them out side to play.
Caden has some weird health things going on this month. Check out this massive canker sore.
Plus he broke out in hives on his hands and elbows.
Practicing selfies with my cutie Kay bugs!
Aunt Karen brought the kids over some matching rain boots, so I dressed the kids in their matching "Lazy One" pajamas that she also gave them and boots to send her a picture.

"My Brynnie Evans and my Two!"

If you ask Brynn what her name is she responds with, "My Brynnie Evans and my two." If you call her any other name like, "Cutie, princess, Stu, etc, she screams, "My not (insert name just called)! My BRYNNIE EVANS AND MY TWO!

The terrible Twos. We love it and we hate it. But Brynnli is definitely a two year old.

Brynn is to the stage where she still kinda needs a nap, but some days she can get away without one, which leaves us finding this cutie asleep in random places like...

On the couch.
Or in the middle of Sacrament meeting.

Or in the car

We were doing some yard work and Brynnli put on Caden's handy man hat and went to work fixing the snow.

Sometimes when Brynnli wakes up with her hair still in her piggies I think she looks like Boo from Monsters, Inc. What do you think?

One thing is for sure, Brynn loves donuts. Every time we go to the store she screams, "My want a donut!" and you guessed it, she usually gets one as we walk up and down the isles.
She obviously has great fashion sense.
All the great pianists play naked, right?
Some other fun things about Brynnli at two:

-She jabbers all the time, talks in full sentences, and says "but" in almost every sentence.
-Is obsessed with "poo". She thinks it is the funniest word ever.
-We kinda, sorta started potty training again, and she went on the potty 4 times this month. We just need to be consistent and she will have it.
-Brynn literally thinks she is a cat and will crawl all around the house saying, "meow". When she's a cat she insists on being held like a cat, likes to be petted, and will even lick you.
-She sings "The Land" song and screams "BAT" at the top of her lungs.
-When she sees a puppy she screams, "Dat puppy gonna taste me!" She means lick, but taste is so much cuter.
-One day she saw a baby crying at the store and said, "Dat baby sad. Hims needs hims bibi and blankie, but hims bibi at home."
-When we are getting ready to drop her off at nursery at church she says, "what kids am I gonna hit?" and when she gets home from church she sits on the couch and proudly tells us, "My didn't hit my kids today!"

Off Track

While Makayla was off track this month we got to do a lot of fun things.

We went to the zoo with our friends Kaylen, Bentley, and Kelsey. They are all the same ages as our kids, so they have a blast together.

 We went on the train.
And rode the carousel at least three times.

Our friends had to leave a little early, but we stayed and had such a fun time.

It's hard to tell in this picture, but Brynnli was so fascinated by the orangutan. She would get right up to the glass and just stare at him...
But then he would glare at her and she would run away from him.
I really don't think I have ever laughed so hard!

I have to say Brynnli was so cute at the zoo this time. She was so little last time we had the Zoo season pass, I don't think she really understood it. But this time she totally got it. She could name all of the animals and loved to stare at them. Her favorite was the elephants.

We also went to see Beauty and the Beast with Grandma and Grandpa, Tracy, and Camden.

We LOVED it! Ok, maybe I loved it more than the kids did, but we had so much fun.

We also went to get ice cream one night. Love this family of mine!

Makayla got invited to Kyra's birthday party at the swimming pool. I just had to document how wrinkly her toes were after. She looks like an old woman!

Love off track time, but Makayla was definitely ready to get back to school!
