Family Time is the Best Time

We have had a lot of fun events lately and we love being together as a family to support and cheer on each other. Here's a few things we have been up to:

Makayla and Brynnli had another dance competition. They did such a great job. I love watching them dance on stage.
Makayla and Hanna got trophies to add to their collection.

Brynnli continued to make us laugh with her sass on stage. Look at her amazing heel stretch.

Makayla's group did so well too.

You know it's spring when I take a picture of my favorite tree blossoming.

We love our Lagoon pass and headed up there again. This time the Joneses and Grandma and Grandpa came up with us.

How many people can you fit on the haunted house ride... let's see...
This was only slightly embarrassing. We all wanted to go on the Lady Bug drop and there were 12 seats, but when the ride was supposed to start it didn't move. The teenager employee tried to figure out what was wrong until the manager came over and informed us we exceeded the weight limit, so some of us had to get off. We were laughing about it all day long.
On the train going to see the animals.

The music ride is one of our favorites because the kids laugh so hard as they try not to get squished.

Another dance competition in the books. This one was down in Payson, and Makayla got to skip school that day. Here's the girls with Marnie, their teacher.

Makayla's duet got 1st place in their division so she got a trophy and a crown.
Utah is so weird. One day it's all nice and springy... the next day there is snow all over the ground. What the heck?

Bella does not like the cold or the snow.
Are you wondering why I took this picture of eggs? Because we are in a crazy inflation right now. Prices are soaring. This 36 pack of eggs is over $9.00. I have never seen prices so high.
We also love cheering our our Buddy as he is starting his first competitive basketball league. His team is the Outlaws and they are the cutest group of boys around. This new league is definitely more challenging and the kids have to work harder, but they are improving so much.

Makayla is quite the baker. She makes the best brownies around.
What do you do when mom and dad make you go shopping with them? Play on the couches of course.

We were at Caden's basketball game and Brynnli kept telling me her tooth was really loose. She kept going to the bathroom and came back at one point all smiles... because she lost her second front tooth!

She is the cutest toothless girl around.

Bella loves to sleep in the sunlight. She naps here pretty much all day long.

We headed up to Hanna Land for Spring Break. We had so much fun doing all the things we love to do up there.

Bella's not spoiled... just well taken care of.

Hey look at that, we made it to Lagoon again!

My mom turned 73 on April 25. The kids made some cute cards and we went over to her house to visit. Brynnli's card made me laugh. She wrote "I love you so much. You make us popcorn, you chase us down stairs. You have a beautiful house. Even though you are getting old, I still love you so much."

We had a birthday party for her at our house a few days later. It was a small gathering because not all of my brothers and nieces and nephews could make it, but we had fun celebrating our mom and grandma.
It's true, we love Grandma Kathy and realize our time with her is dwindling, so we will take every opportunity to spend time with her.

Geez... all I wanted was a relaxing bath and Bella kept coming in to see what I was doing.
If there's one theme you have picked up on in this post is that we love spending time together. Family time really is the best time.
