February Fun

Welcome to February!!
Tyler technically started his new job on January 29, but it was close enough to the February blog post that it will go here. Tyler will be working from home, but he had to drive to the SLC office for the first week. After 3 months of not working, he is back at it. We are so hopeful that this job will be a good fit for him. I had to take a picture on his first day of work.
Caden's Legos finally arrived and he wasted no time putting them together. I remember when he was little and we would have to help him, but now he is just so fast at putting them together. I left for just an hour or less and when I came back he had the whole thing done.
Brynnli got to go with me to the gymnastics meet. It was princess and hero day, so Brynnli got to meet all of the princesses.

The Utes one and Maile O'Keefe got a perfect 10 on beam!! That's Brynnli holding up the sign that got on the big screen.

Caden loves playing basketball. He plays with 3 different teams right now. His Bingham Bantam team is undefeated. He also practices with the Rebels and plays church ball on Saturday mornings. We love watching him play and get better at the sport.
Tyler serves with the young men in our church and so he got roped into coaching the older team. This was a tough game for him because he was coaching our ward, but Caden was playing on the opposite team because they didn't have enough kids. Tyler was secretly hoping Caden's team would win.

Look how cute our girls are in their matching sweatshirts. I laugh every time our girls wear these sweatshirts because people always say, "wait, you can't dance?" and Brynnli responds with, "no. There's a period here." My favorite story is when Makayla wore it to school and the principal stopped her and asked if she was going to tell her dance teacher she couldn't dance. Makayla was mortified that her principal would talk to her.
I love that our kids love to read. They beg me to go to the library all the time and they love to read every night.

Caden and Tyelr are heading out on a winter camp out... but that's for another post. They had to make sure their sleeping bags were warm enough before they left.
We went to Mason and Kenzee's party and they had a magician there (technically there were two magicians there because of a scheduling mix up, but one magically disappeared... get it?). This magician kept calling people up to help him with tricks and as he was deciding who to pick I whispered to Tyler, "Don't make eye contact" and guess who he picked? Me! It was fine and the trick he did was pretty cool. He figured out what page I was reading in a book without even looking at me.
Mason loved the magician and was laughing at all of his funny tricks.
Caden's Bantam team is doing amazing this year. We love watching him play.
Grandpa Bill and Grandma Bonnie came to one of his games. How cool is it that Caden's great grandpa and grandma are still around to come cheer him on?

After 6 long months I finally got my hairs did. I couldn't decide if I loved the length, but I'm getting used to it being shorter.

Our basement project is coming along slowly now that Tyler has a job. He works on it as much as he can. I love how he redid our storage space underneath the stairs. I can't wait to show you the finished project.
Brynnli's friends the Moffat's came back for a visit from Florida. Brynnli was so excited. They played as much as they could while they were here.
Have you met our rizz queen? Ask Makayla was rizzing is because I don't really get it.
Do you know how much I love my family? So much that I will wake up early to drive to Krispie Kreme Donuts at 6 am before I go to work. Now that is love.

I had to work and the kids had all their normal after school activities, so Valentine's day wasn't very spectacular this year. We had heart shaped pizza for dinner and the kids all got a little gift from us.

Google photos makes me laugh. Some times it will create a photo album and suggest a title for it. Tyler sent me this of a suggestion Tyler could title this album:

Either Tyler is really old, or he needs to stop wearing old people fishing hats. Either way we got a good laugh out of it.

Crazy hair day at school. Brynnli really wanted the soda bottle style, but I had to work, so Tyler was on hair duty that day. Look at how good he did!!

Happy 41st birthday to our favorite daddy and husband. We love Tyler so much and are so grateful for him. Not only is he such a hard worker, but he can literally do it all. He makes us laugh and inspires us to be better. What would we do without him?

And what would we do without our little Bella? She sure is loved around here.
I was trying so hard to watch our odometer because I wanted to get a picture of all 7's. I literally stopped in the middle of our neighborhood to take a picture when it changed to this... I was so mad.
Tyler and Brynnli picked me up for lunch one day. Brynnli had the day off of school and Tyler's job is pretty flexible. I'm loving this new job!!
Makayla competed her solo at the America Onstage competition. Makayla moved up to the intermediate category and got 1st place! I love her solo this year. It really showcases all of her strengths.
