The End

Our blog book for 2025 is coming to a close, but here's a few fun things we did during the last week of the year.

We had lots of movie nights with hot chocolate and popcorn. I got all these samples of popcorn flavorings, so we tried them all and decided dill pickle and ranch were our favorites.

Bill and Bon took us to the giving machines where the kids could pick out their gift to donate. They chose great things like meal kits, piglets, and diapers for people in need in other countries.

Then we headed up to The Land. The kids love hanging out with the cousins
So weird... there is still no snow this winter. Should we be getting nervous?

Counting down to the New Year with chicken nuggies (which have become a new tradition)

I loved 2025. I really think this was one of my favorite years. We went on some pretty amazing trips, the summer was literally my favorite, and life just seems to be really good right now. I am excited to see what 2026 brings. I hope it includes more family time, more vacations, and more time doing the things we love.

Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas

Christmas time is officially here!

We started out with the traditional "Christmas outfit"

Then the official Christmas family photo
We went over to my parents house to decorate gingerbread houses and open presents.

Even Bella got to come with us and helped us open the presents.

Then it was off to Terry and Craig's house. Sometimes this family can be so weird. They decided to see how many people they could fit into the smallest room in their house.
Then it was time for dinner, bells, presents, and dancing in the street to the accordion.

After hours of fun we came home to set out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
We went to bed with hopes that Santa would bring us some fun things, and boy did he ever!!

Before the kids could run to their presents I made them take our traditional stair picture
We were so spoiled this year. Brynnli got a vanity
Caden got a really nice basketball

and Makayla got new ear pods.
Bella even got some new toys and treats.

More presents included a Mammoth sweatshirt for Caden, Legos, and a Utah helmet decoration.
Makayla got shoes, lots of clothes, a comfrt set, and makeup
Brynnli got Legos, clothes, and toys

One more family picture
The 12, my parents, Bill and Bon, Karen, Ann, and Jo came over for dinner and more presents.

And all the kids had fun playing their new games in the basement.

To end the night we went over to Tammy and Bruce's house for some more food and fun.
This Christmas might seem like it was the same as other years, but there was something so fun about this year. Our kids are getting older and they are so much fun. I love that even though they are getting bigger, Christmas makes the magic reappear. I love this time of year and I love spending time with family. In the end, that's all that really matters.
