Leap Year

Looks like we don't have that many pictures for our month end blog on this once-every-four-years leap year. February was great for us, just hanging out as a family. Here's the few pictures that didn't make it into our other posts:

Oh our little Cader Mater! He loves socks. Weird, right? We've found him wearing, no joke, seven pairs of socks at one time. Caden loves socks so much he even insists on wearing them to bed. This particular night he had a pair on the inside and outside of his jammies.

We went to the gymnastics meet one night. We had some time to kill before we could go in, so we chilled in the car and took these two cute pictures. Gosh I love this family of mine!

We also took turns posing like gymnasts.

I've been thinking it has been a while since I updated about Brynn. She is now 17 months and starting to talk. Some of her new words are: Bi Bi (Binkie) and Ma! Ma! Ma! Ma! (supposed to be Mom, but it's who ever she wants to get their attention). "Sho" (shoe).  One of our favorite things about Brynnli is when it is time to go to bed we tell her to go give Makayla and Caden a kiss goodnight. She understands us and runs to them, gives them a hug and kiss, waves, and says, "Nigh, nigh!" Brynnli still has to have her blankie and binkie to fall asleep. She also loves to read books before bed. Her favorite book is the "Elmo Look and Find." She likes to point to the puppy and kitty. Her other favorite part is when she sees Count she goes, "One, Ah Ah!" When she wakes up she just jabbers in her crib until we get her. One day I heard her up but it was early so I thought she would fall back asleep. Apparently I was taking too long because next thing I heard was a big THUD! Brynnli got sick of waiting for me and crawled out of her crib, albeit not gracefully.  Brynnli loves bath time and tries to jump in the tub every time one of us is in there. And lastly, Brynnli is not the best eater, but she loves meat. Some days it is all she will eat. I guess she won't starve, but it sure makes me feel like a bad mom for not getting her to eat a well balanced meal.
