The Last Day of School

 This picture right here makes me so sad and happy all at the same time. This was the last time Makayla would walk to elementary school. Next year she will be in middle school and I just don't know how I feel about her growing up. 

Yes, I did watch her walk all the way to the end of the street. 

But do you know why Makayla is walking instead of riding her bike like the other kids? Because we insist the kids wear helmets and Makayla thinks she looks funny with one, so we told her it was either bike with a helmet or walk... and she choose walk. 

On the actual last day of school, Makayla decided safety was more important than looks, so she rode her bike to school with the other kids. This picture makes me sad too because this is the last time they will all be in the same school together. 

Look how much each of them has grown up. 

And poor Bella... this is her last day of naps until the kids go back to school. 

This year was such a great year for all of our kids. They had great teachers, made great friends, and participated in so many activities. We loved the school year, but we are so excited for school to be done because now we all get to stay up late, sleep in, spend our days at the pool, and soak up the sun. 

Summer is officially here!!
