Makayla had the coolest opportunity to be a Zombie for Odyssey's Thriller this year! The girls' dance studio was chosen to do a special performance at one of the Thriller performances and Makayla tried out and made it! She had to make her own costume and she did a great job. I would say she was the cutest zombie around!
They performed at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City.
Makayla had to be there early for rehearsal, so Tyler and I went to dinner and walked around main street. Tyler found all sorts of cool mining equipment because Park City used to be a very successful mining town.
Caden and Brynnli and Grandma and Grandpa met us up there before the performance.
Makayla had to stay in character before the show. The zombies walk around and get to scare the audience.
But this zombie was nice enough to pose with us.
I have seen Odyssey's Thriller more times than I can count, but this one was by far my favorite performance. I never thought I would see my daughter dancing on stage in one of the shows. We snuck this picture of Makayla dancing.
After the performance we got pictures with the smiling zombie.
This is Makayla's teammate Gracie. She danced in the Chucky dance.
It was such a memorable night, and I am so happy and proud of Makayla!
