Here's a few fun things we did during December to gear up for Christmas.
I was looking at our family calendar and realized we only had one day free where all of us would be together, so we made a really fun day of it. We went to Tepankaki for dinner. This is one of the kids' favorites places to go, but it is so expensive for a family, so we only get to go on special occasions.
Then we went to Lumanaria at Thanksgiving Point. It was super cold out, but we had fun wondering around looking at all the cute lights and decorations.
There is even this Book of Mormon and Bible walk through with different statues representing stories from the books. It was pretty cool to see.
We even found some real reindeer.
Brynnli had her team dance party. They all got matching sweats. This is going to be such a fun season for them.
Beautiful sunrise!!
Tyler, Caden and I went to a Jazz game. We have more free tickets this year, so we took an opportunity to go... even though the Jazz suck this year and probably lost.
Caden was just a little bit grossed out when we asked him to take our picture.
Ice cream for the boys!!
We got to watch Brynnli in the school choir concert. Brynnli has done choir for the last few years and I am always so proud of her dedication to wake up early two days a week to be at practice. I loved the songs they sang this year.
Brynnli wanted to take her friends to the Red Rocks Preview. These three are pretty hilarious together and had a lot of fun. They made fun every where we went... including the Trax train.
More basketball with Dream Team. This will probably be Caden's last season with Dream Team. He is going to stick with Bantam which has more consistency and better opportunities. He has had fun with Dream Team, but we're excited to move on.
Caden's Holiday choir concert... always fun.
Flu bug hit our house... this time it was Makayla.
We hosted a friend Christmas party with some of Brynnli's friends. We had pancakes for dinner, then they opened presents and played games downstairs.
Cute group of girls.

Just a boy with his dog. If you can't tell, Bella is the favorite around our house.
Ward Christmas party where you're never too old to sit on Santa's lap.
The 12 Party is also one of our favorite traditions. This year Terry and Craig got everyone in the family Minki blankets. They were a huge hit!
And each cousin from the youngest to the college student had fun painting their ginger bread house.
I think we have had a lot of fun this month... now time for Chirstmas!!

Kurt Bestor with the fam!! I love this tradition and I love that we were able to experience it with the whole family. Sadly Cam was sick and Jerm stayed home with him. Since there were two tickets that we didn't want to go to waste, my parents were able to come last minute. Kurt Bestor is one of my favorite Christmas traditions.
