Jo's Hall of Fame

If you know our family, you know we are all Utes fans

But what you may not know, is that Tyler's aunt Jo was inducted into the University of Utah Hall of Fame. How cool is that? How even more cool is it that we were invited to see all the fun celebrations!

Jo used to play softball for the U of U and was even the head coach there before she became the head coach at Texas A & M, where she has been for the last 25ish years. The U of U Chrimson club honored her and some other players/coaches at a ceremony and football game.

She even got a locker room named after her!
We got to go to the award dinner with her where she rubbed shoulders with Lavelle Edwards
And Carson and Colton got to meet Utes players, turned NFL pros, Jordon Gross and Steve Smith. (Honestly, I had no idea who they were, but the boys were excited, so I was too.)
The guest of honor... I feel like I was with a celebrity.

The dinner was delicious, and Tracy was hilarious. She wouldn't try any of the food and used the wrong fork.
Then they presented the awards with short video introduction.

The next day our whole family got to go on a tour of the football center.

This was Steve Smith's locker, which is now named after him.

Brynn was showing off her muscles in the weight room.
Then we got to watch the game from the viewing room. They were the closest seats in the house.

The kids said hi to Swoop.

Jo and Karen got to present the Occie Evans Award (named after Tyler's great grandpa)

And then at half time they presented Jo with the award.

Unfortunately the Utes loss, but Tyler and the kids got to pretend to be Kyle Whittingham and pretend to be interviewed after the game.

Congrats Jo! What a great accomplishment!

September at it's Finest

Here's some pictures from September that didn't make it into our other posts.

We had a Utes party at Karly and Rico's new house. It was super fun, especially when Ryan jumped in our selfie.
The Magna Gun Club is closing after 40 ish years. It is so sad because I always thought this is where our kids would learn to shoot just like Tyler learned growing up. Hopefully we will be able to find another place to shoot, because the trap shoot weekends are my favorite weekends of the year.

They had a special shooting day where everyone could go shoot for free. There was a huge group of family and friends that spent hours together shooting in all sorts of challenges.

We celebrated Grandpa Craig's birthday at El Rancho Grande.
Brynnli got some ice cream too, but Caden may have eaten all of it.
Oh, and we spend most of our Saturday mornings watching Caden play soccer, and we absolutely love it! He is doing so well this season and loves playing on his new team.

Marvel Superheroes

Caden is very into superheroes right now, so when I saw that the Marvel Superheroes were coming to the Maverick Center, I knew we all had to go.

Caden dressed up as Captain America.

Awww, I sure do love this cute family of mine! We were all ready for the show.

We got to see all of our favorite superheroes including Captain America, Spiderman, and Thor.

The kids got super excited when they saw the Hulk come on stage.
Luckily all the good superheroes banded together to save Earth from the bad guys who were trying to take over.

Since the show Caden has been imitating all the super heroes, which is probably the cutest thing you will ever see.

Love fun weekends with my cute family!
