August is Over?

Those summer nights are coming to a close, but what a great summer we have had. Here's some highlights that didn't make it into our other posts.

Love these girls. And I love dressing them in matching outfits.

Tyler gave him self a hair cut and asked me if it looked good. You be the judge.

How cute are these three heading into church?
I just can't get over how handsome Caden looks in this picture. Look out ladies...but he's only 4.
Makayla was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got wacked in the head by the drawer. Instead of consoling her I asked if I could take a picture. Check out that bump!
The kids were playing Jake the Pirate and spying on us. Caden put his sword in his pants, and we got a good laugh out of it.
We met Auntie Em for lunch one day and snapped this gem of Brynn thinking she was in the selfie.
We got to see Collin Raye at the Sandy Amphitheater. Such a fun night and such a pretty sunset.

I got to celebrate my 33 birthday with THE BEST dinner at The Melting Pot in Salt Lake. It was so good... especially the dessert.

My actual birthday was celebrated with a family breakfast out, shopping, and a combined birthday party at Terry and Craig's. Sound like a great day? It was!
 Just reading books.
 And wearing Mommy's bra
 And being silly.

It's been a while since I have done my favorite #convoswiththekids:
Makayla thinks she is the parent around our house. She came up to me one day very upset...

Makayla: "Mom, did you give the kids Oreos? You know it's not Sunday."
Me: "Who are the kids?"
Makayla: "Caden and Brynnli"
Me: "Aren't you a kid?"

The best convos are always with Caden. Sometimes I would just love to know how his little brain works. We have been getting ready for a Relief Society party at our house and we were talking to the kids about it. Caden couldn't figure out what kind of a party it was so we were explaining that a few of our neighbors would be coming over. He wanted to know which neighbors, so we told him a few of the ones that we go to church with, so Caden responded, "Will Jesus be there?"
