The Happiest Place on Earth! Day 1

Yep, you guessed it, we went to Disneyland!! Tyler and I have wanted to take the kids back to Disneyland for a while now. We thought the trip would happen back in March, but because of some uncertainty with Tyler's job, it got pushed to September. So here we are, bright and early on a Tuesday morning ready to fly to Disneyland. We were lucky enough to have my parents come with us this time. They haven't been for over 25 years, so we were super excited for them.

P.S. Who's jealous of Brynnli? She's been to Disneyland twice now, and technically she's not even two years old yet.
It was missionary day at the airport. I could feel the excitement and nervousness from these missionaries.
The plane ride was great. The kids were busy with movies and coloring for the whole flight.

We got to Disneyland, went to lunch, and then went to get our tickets for the park where we found a wax replica of Captain America.

Once we got into the park we met our very first princess, Ariel. For some reason Caden was terrified of her.
It was only the middle of September, but they already had their Halloween decor out. What's more magical than Mickey and Halloween?
 All seven of us!
One of the kids' favorite parts was climbing Tarzan's tree house.  I think we went through it at least five times while at DL.
We took Makayla and Caden on Splash Mountain. Makayla loved it... Caden did not. I am obviously excited!

We went on a few more rides throughout the day.
Our favorite part of the day was probably the parade. The kids loved it, and we loved seeing the look in their eyes and their excitement when they would see a character they loved.

After the parade we ran into the Evil Queen from Snow White. She was hilarious. We asked her for her autograph and she replied, "Only if you left the first page for me!" Ironically she was our first character to meet so we told her we did, to which she replied, "Tell me your favorite thing about me... is it my fair skin?" Then when it came time to take the picture she told Makayla and Caden, "Chin up... no smiling!"
Caden also got to meet Captain Hook
We spent some time in Toon Town and took a lot of pictures.

 Of course they were fighting.

Then we got to meet the one and only, Mickey Mouse! Brynn was terrified of him, hence why she isn't in this picture.

We topped of the evening with a ride on Small World
 Then the kids were O.U.T!

Time for a good night's sleep before another day!
