My 31st birthday was great! We partied it up for an entire week. It started on August 16 with a combined pizza birthday party at Litza's with Tyler's family for mine, Tracy, and Gayle's birthday. The next day we went to Lagoon again (okay, that wasn't for my birthday, but if any fun thing happens around my birthday, I consider it part of my birthday celebration.)
Thursday was my actual birthday. I wanted to do something fun with the kids so we decided to go to Wheeler Farm to feed the ducks.
The ducks liked the bread we gave them, but didn't like the peas. Makayla was pretty upset that they didn't eat her peas. We also went to see the some of the other animals like the goats, pigs, horses, chickens, cows, and horses.
When Daddy got home from work he gave me the birthday present I have been hoping for: a new iPod! I am a very spoiled girl. Then we went to dinner at Zupas.
Daddy told us to make grumpy faces, and it looks like I make the best one out of all of us.
The next day Tyler and I got to go out for a date. I was so excited because it feels like it has been months since the two of us were able to go out. We went to the movie,
The Giver, and then to our favorite restaurant, Carvers. Loved every minute of our date!
My birthday week ended with a birthday dinner at my mom's with my side of the family. Thanks to my wonderful husband, adorable kids, and amazing family, I had the best 31st birthday I could imagine!
