October 2021

Guess who got braces? This guy!

Poor Caden inherited my big teeth, so he has to get braces and an expander to help his teeth come in. Hopefully by doing phase 1 braces now he will be able to avoid having braces for 5 years like I did.
If you can't tell, Caden was not happy about it. I had to work that day, but luckily Tyler works from home some days and was able to take Caden in.
After some time in the chair, Caden's braces were on and he looked so handsome with his new grill!

The poor kid had a rough few days because his teeth hurt so bad he couldn't eat. But after a few days he felt much better and has still been able to eat the candy he loves.

The girls had to go to a dance camp, so Caden and Daddy went on a boys day to miniature golf.

The girls were a little nervous about their dance camp. They had to go for 2 days for about 4 hours a day. They ended up having fun and learning a lot of new dance styles.

Makayla and I went on a special date to Gold Over America with Simone Biles. Makayla loves gymnastics and this was our last chance to see Simone Biles and Mykayla Skinner in person.

Before the show started we waited in line to see the Utah gymnastics team. Makayla even got to meet her favorite gymnast, Sydney Soloski.
We originally purchased tickets in the higher section, but found out we were upgraded to the lower bowl. Our seats were great. Gosh I love this girl. She is so funny and so cute!

The show was amazing and we loved the message about following your dreams and never giving up hope, even when things are hard.

Guess who got her first real haircut? It looks like we have a brand new dog.
Brynnli got in trouble one night and I told her to go to bed. We couldn't find her in her bed, but later found her cuddled up on our pillows.
Why would you want to sleep in your own bed when mom and dad's bed is clearly more comfortable?
Makayla and Caden have been trying to earn money to buy a new x box remote, so we put them to work in our yard. Makayla did a great job mowing the lawn! In all reality, I'm surprised Tyler let her mow it because he is very particular about his mowing lines. Heck, even I'm not allowed to mow. That tells you how great of a job she did.

More pictures of our Bella, because she's the cutest puppy in the world.

I love that our girls can go to dance together on Wednesdays. They are working so hard on their dances this year and I am so excited to see their competitions.
Guess who lost another tooth? This girl! If she's not careful, she may not have any teeth left to eat her food.

October has been such a fun and busy month. But we're not done yet!
