Our Little Love Bug is TWO! How can this be?
We decided a 2nd birthday deserved a ladybug themed party.
The whole day Brynnli would say, "Hap Bir Me!" She is seriously adorable!!
She got a Doc McStuffins toy, dress up princesses, and some clothes.
The next day (Saturday) was her party. It was touch and go on the weather, so we decided to set things up in the basement. Here's some of her decorations, which I think turned out so stinkin' cute!
Aren't these cupcakes adorable?
The Birthday Girl herself
We decided to have a pinata this year, so Tyler came up with the idea to hang the pinata from our bonus room... I tell ya, that man is a genius!
The pinata was a HUGE hit!
After the pinata we opened presents
Aunt Karen gave her this skirt, so Brynn had to put it on right then. She was so proud of herself and strutted around like she owned the place.
Brynnli was spoiled with a lot of cute clothes, jammies, toys, a walking puppy, a Minnie Mouse microwave, and money.
Then we sang to our little cutie and she got to blow out the candle on her cupcake.
The cupcakes got the stamp of approval from Brynn.
Thanks so much to our family for being so great to our little Brynnie Bear!
Some things I love about Brynnli at two years old:
At her 2 year check up she in the 15% for weight and was in the 60% for height.
She is the most stubborn two year old I have ever met. She insists on doing things on her own and when she doesn't get what she wants she throws monumental temper tantrums. I even asked the doctor how to handle it and he just told me some toddlers are more stubborn than others. Great.
She is stubborn, but she is also sweet. She loves to cuddle and gives some of the best hugs and kisses around.
Brynn talks in full sentences now, and it seems Tyler, Makayla, Caden, and I are the only ones who understand her. We often have to translate for other people.
When someone leaves she asks, "be back?"
She tattles on her brother and sister by saying, "Buddy and Kayda did dat me!"
She gives the dirtiest looks around... seriously, if looks could kill!
If we do some thing she doesn't like she scowls and says, "so mad at you!"
She rarely eats. I have no idea how she survives on milk and Cheese-its.
I think she's ready to be potty trained, but I just don't want to yet, so diapers it is for a few more months.
Oh Brynnie! I love my sweet girl and just can't believe you are two. I remember so vividly when we found out you were a girl. The rush and excitement was indescribable, and now you've become a funny, energetic, crazy, sweet toddler. I love to see you learn and try new things. Even though I find it frustrating, I love that you are determined and have a little mind of your own. You are the perfect completion to our family. I love that you love your "Buddy" and how you adore and mimic "Sissy". I especially love when I get to spend time with just you when the other two are at school. I am so excited to see the cute little girl you will become and love to watch you learn and grow.
Happy Birthday Brynnie Bear!
