The last days of school are almost behind us and we summer is just around the corner. We cannot wait! The kids had field day at school and got to bring a home lunch.
Hey remember last year when the crazy guy in the Harvest Crossing neighborhood had a shoot out with police and the police found explosives all in his house? Then remember how last October when someone was trying to clean out their house and some more explosives went off? I think it is safe to say the house is dangerous, so the city finally worked out a way to have it torn down. The news was there to report on it.
So glad this house is finally torn down. I think we can all breathe a little easier now.
Look how much our cuties have changed in a year. Here they all are on the first day of school and the last
Now that school is over, and the long summer nights are here, the kids have been playing night games with the neighbors
Makayla tried to learn guitar. She said she will stick with piano.
The kids all got to plan some flowers in their pots.
Utah is known for fires in the summer, but this one hit a little too close to home. The Bear Fire started about 4 miles northwest of Helper, Utah, which is very close to Tammy and Bruce's cabin. The firefighters alerted Tammy and Bruce and told them to evacuate all of their stuff out of the cabin. All their family and friends showed up to help them get all the stuff out. It was a super scary time because they didn't know if their cabin would burn down.
After about a week Tammy and Bruce found out that the firefighters were able to contain the fire and no structures were damaged. The fire ended up burning over 12,000 acres of land. We are all so thankful to the firefighters for working so hard!

Our kids love to watch Lego Masters and build lots of creations.
Hangin out at the park with my cutie. I love Makayla. She is becoming so grown up and is turning into such a beautiful girl inside and out.
Plus, she makes really yummy treats like these rice Krispy treats cut into a flower.
The girls have been wanting to get their ears pierced, so we finally did it. I took them to a doctor and the whole experience was great... you can't tell that from Brynnli's face here.
Play hard, sleep hard. Mom and Dad's bed is the best for sleeping in on summer mornings.
Karen loves to take the same picture of the kids in the same position to document how much they grown. The kids hate taking the picture, but we love to laugh from the sidelines.
This summer has been such a game changer for me. I have always been too scared to take the kids to a pool, because they were all too little, but this year the kids are older and better swimmers, so I took them to the West Jordan pool, and they had so much fun. We were there for hours. Our kids are great swimmers! I think it's safe to say we will be spending our summer at the pool.
We took my mom and dad out to dinner for Father's day. The line was extra long, because so many restaurants are having a hard time getting servers to work. The reason? Covid. But we had a fun time hanging out with Grandma Kathy while we waited.
Then we went to my cousin's daughter's wedding.
I had to document this picture. This is my Aunt Joann. She and my mom are 10 years apart, but they talk the same and laugh the same. I had so many great memories growing up with Joann and her family. We would always take a trip down to St. George with them every summer and have so much fun. It's kind of sad when everyone grows up and you don't get to see them as often.
Caden's drawing at church. I would be scared too.
Our neighbors went out of town and asked us to take care of their bunny while they were gone. Our kids were in heaven. They would go over to their house multiple times a day to feed and play with the bunny.
I got my hairs did. I went dark and I am loving it.
Did you ever wonder what I would look like if I was a Disney princess? There's an app for that.
Hanging out with the cousins. You know the 4th of July is close when the kids get their matching shirts.
What, you don't do dance moves in the car? Oh, ok. Just Brynnli then.
Sometimes I feel bad for Tyler because Father's day and our anniversary hit on the same weekend and sometimes Father's day gets lost in the mix. But one thing is for sure, we are so lucky to call him our Husband, Dad, and Best Friend! Tyler is such a hard worker. He is funny and always manages to make us laugh everyday. He's an amazing cook and makes us the best dinners on his new Rec Tec. We love you!

We also went to the Bees Baseball game with Grandma and Grandpa and the Joneses. We had so much fun!
Sometimes working from home is so exhausting that you fall asleep while looking at your phone.
Thanks to Tyler for capturing this gem. I love my snuggle buddy.
The girls have dance even in the summer. Look how cute our girls are! I got my hairs did. I went dark and I am loving it.

Yep, Summer is off to a great start.
