Randomness from October

Here's a few pictures/events from October that didn't make it into our other posts...

Check out this double rainbow!

The kids all helped me make dinner one day. They are the best helpers.

All five of these babies were born within a year of each other. The Karpakis girls are family friends and we got together with them one day for lunch. From right to left there's Tracy with Camden (11 months), Keesha with Capri (10 months), Karly with Kenzee (9 months), Crystal with Camryn (4 months), and me with Brynnli (10 days old).
Jeremy and the boys showed up at the end.

We also took a day to hang out at the Zoo.

Grandma Terry came over for dinner and she read the kids some books.
The kids love hanging out together. Makayla was reading the kids stories in our bed.

This little girl loves dance class, especially since she no longer has to wear her sling for her broken collar bone and she can do everything at dance again!
Remember how our kids love to hang out in the warming drawer of our oven? They still do.
Makayla was reading to Caden. I worried when I decided to stay home that these two would go crazy at home with me all day, but I have been surprised at how much they love it. They are best friends (most of the time) and love playing together all day.
We all love snuggling with Brynnli in bed

Yep, life is good at the Evans' household!

Halloween is "Brewing" with Fun!

We have had so much fun getting ready for Halloween this year. We started out the fun with a night at Gardner Village for Witch Fest with the Jones family and Grandma Terry.

We especially liked this witch because it was a "mining" witch for Tyler.
Here's Grandma with all her little Goblins... I mean grand kids.

Then we spent a morning at the Pumpkin patch. We sat on the different tractors

Then they had this cute Mater Car, so we had to take a lot of pictures by it.

They also had this cute plane from the movie "Planes"... obviously.
Then it was off to pick out our pumpkins.
Daddy had to help Kayla with the wheel barrow.
They also had a small corn maze, so we went through that.

 Check out this huge tractor!
 My cuties with their "Babies"

That night we colored our pumpkins with markers.

Then the next day we carved pumpkins with Tyler's family.

Tracy and Camden made the Utes pumpkin.
Caden was supposed to be helping me make this pumpkin, but he got bored, so Makayla helped me briefly.
Caden had more fun picking out pumpkin seeds with Grandpa Craig than helping me with his pumpkin.

Daddy and Kayla made this cute Tinkerbell pumpkin and Makayla was so proud of it.

Before we went to bed we lighted up our pumpkins
Caden's blew out before we could get a picture, but check out Kayla's Tinkerbell pumpkin!

The Thursday before Halloween Makayla had her preschool program where parents could come watch some of the songs they have been working on. Obviously Elsa was a very popular costume this year (there were three in Makayla's class alone), but our cute Elsa is the one in the middle.

After their program they got to go back to their class to have a Halloween snack.
This is Makayla's cute class with her teachers. I can't say enough how much I love her preschool. Makayla learns so much there and looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday.

Later that day I made spider cookies to take to the grandparents that night.

Finally Halloween day arrived. The kids were so excited to get into their costumes to go Trick or Treating. I think Makayla was dressed in her Elsa dress by 3:30, and didn't understand why she couldn't go get candy right then. To help pass the time, I made the kids pose for a lot of pictures.

And pretend to like each other.

I really think Caden might win in the cuteness department with his "Spida-man" costume.

Brynnli dressed up as an adorable 5 week old. Her shirt says "Don't scare me, I poop easily". Ain't that the truth.

We took the kids trick or treating. We went around most of our small block and then I left to take Brynnli home and hand out candy.
A few hours later the kids came home. They got a serious stash of candy this year. Seriously, that is way too much candy for a two year old.
Makayla spent the rest of the night separating her candy into piles until I told her to clean it up. She refused until I told her the Grumpy Old Troll was going to come and take all of it.

Unfortunately the Grumpy Old Troll did find all of the kids' candy and hid it (and Tyler and I have enjoyed it ever since!) :)

Happy Halloween from our little Goblins!
