Roughing It!

Our yearly trip to Oneida Narrows has come and gone again. Of all the times we have been to Oneida, I would say this trip was one of my favorites! It was a little bit harder with three kids, but we made it work. Makayla and Caden had an absolute blast playing all day long, and Brynnli was a trooper to be all out of wack with her schedule.

We went up on Wednesday and set up our camp, made dinner and sat around the campfire. Thursday we went to the lake and played all day long. Thanks to Ryan for the photo bomb.

We loved spending time with all of our cousins. It seems like we always had one of our cousins ready to play with the kids, hang out in our trailer, or playing in the campground.

Friday and Saturday were spent at the lake and floating down the river. Brynnli was such a trooper and managed to sleep wherever she needed to.
My poor mom had to have bunion surgery on her other foot this year, so she didn't get to do any of the fun water things again this year. Hopefully next year she won't be out of commission.
This may have been our very last year waterskiing. My dad said he is going to try to sell our boat this year because it won't start some of the time and he spends more time trying to get it ready than we spend using it. It was a great boat for almost 30 years!
 Me water skiing...

 Tyler water skiing...

Hannah water skiing

We love hanging out on the boat!

Makayla is getting braver and braver by the year. She was loving jumping into the water (of course Daddy was there to catch her.)

Caden preferred to just get his legs wet.

One of my favorite memories from this trip was how cute Caden was with Sara. He insisted on sitting by her at the campfire, and told us, "Sara's my best friend!"

We loved mornings eating breakfast in the trailer

And breaking all sorts of laws by letting Caden drive.

We also celebrated my dad's birthday!

Happy birthday to the best dad and grandpa around!
Until next year Oneida!

9 Month Check up

Brynnli had her 9 month check up and here's her stats:

Weight: 16.3 lbs (7%)
Height: 27.5 inches (40%)
Head: 16.8 (15%)

The good news is developmentally, Brynnli is doing really well. She is crawling all over, babbling, and sleeping really well. Plus, she is super adorable!

The bad news is the doctor is concerned about her weight and thinks my milk is not enough for her right now, so it looks like we will be all done breast feeding (insert tears from both of us). For some strange reason, I am really sad about being done breast feeding. I mean, I don't love fighting her in public to feed, or dealing with nursing bras, but I love the special time we get to spend together every day, and the fact that sometimes all she needs is my milk to make her feel better. Guess this day was coming soon, I just didn't think it was coming this fast. But leave it to Brynnli to be the best baby. She's already figured out how to drink from a bottle, so we don't have to struggle with that!

Stay tuned for Project Fatten up Brynnli!

Lil' Fire Crackers

Yea for 4th of July celebrations at The Land!
We LOVE the 4th at Hannah/Tabiona, and this year was no different. We spent the whole weekend here, but I only got pictures of the 4th. Tyler and I started out the day with a 5K run. I ran it in 35 minutes and Tyler ran it in 23! Then it was off to the parade!

Thanks to Grandma Terry and Grandpa Craig, the kids were all decked out in our cute outfits.

This was Brynnli's very first 4th of July and parade. I think she loved it!

Grandpa took the kids for a walk before the parade started.

Cute Camden and Caden in their matching outfits.

The parade was great! Short, sweet, and cute, just like we like it! We got a lot of candy and necklaces.

After the parade we got some cute pictures of all the cousins together.

We stayed until Sunday and had a blast going for 4 wheeler rides, eating, playing games, going for walks, singing by the campfire, and of course, playing on the play set.

We love this time of year!!
