Perfect Day in Coco Cay

Our second port was a Perfect Day at Coco Cay, and let me tell you, this day was absolute perfection!
Coco Cay is Royal Carribean's private island and it is so much fun.

We found a less crowded spot at the beach and spent hours playing in the ocean.

We turned Brynnli into a mermaid!
The kids were kind of creeped out because we kept seeing jellyfish and the kids were scared they would get stung.
Lunch on the island was amazing. We had hamburgers, fries, fruit, and yummy desserts.

Then we spent some time at the pool.

The kids needed fancy drinks poolside, because that's what you do!

We went to the other side of the island and took some more beach pictures.

How are these two related? At this point in the trip, Brynnli looked like she was a different race and Tyler was still white.

Back in our room and we got the cutest towel animals.

Tyler is looking great in his island shirt. Probably the only time he will ever wear it.
Mid dinner dancing to the YMCA!
Our server was so nice and brought Caden two desserts because even he picked up on how much Caden loves desserts.
And with this amazing sunset, day 4 was done.

Day 3 in Nassau

Our first port was Nassau, Bahamas. We booked a dolphin excursion at Blue Lagoon Island. We took a boat ride to the private island.

The boat ride had some of the prettiest views. The water is the bluest blue I have ever seen.
We arrived at Blue Lagoon Island and had a few hours before our dolphin meet and greet. Fun fact, did you know this is where they filmed the movie Flipper? And if you have no idea what that movie is about, you must be younger than me and Tyler!
We had so much fun hanging out at the beach.

If you don't get a sandy feet photo, did you really go to the beach?

Then it was our turn to meet the dolphins. I have always wanted to do a dolphin excursion, even though I am kind of grossed out by sea animals. Good thing I got over the grossness, because this was honestly one of the best parts of our Bahamas trip. We got a little show of the dolphins doing some tricks before we got in the water.

When it was our turn we got in the water with the dolphins. The dolphin went by on its back and we got to feel it. It was kind of rubbery, but slick and slightly slimy.

Then the dolphin came up to each of us to "dance" with us

Then we all got to give the dolphin a hug, and the dolphin gave us a "kiss" The smiles on our kids' faces are priceless.

The dolphins were so cute and so excited to perform. They kind of reminded all of us of Bella when she is so excited to do her tricks for a treat. And now Brynnli wants a pet dolphin.

After meeting the dolphins we walked around the island and spent more time at the beach until it was time for our boat ride back.

On our boat ride back we went past all of the famous celebrity houses at the Bahamas. This is Oprah's house.
Before getting on our cruise ship we wanted to show the kids the markets at Nassau. We told them they could pick out a souvenir and told them we would have to haggle.
The kids did not like this experience. It was crowded and the kids did not like all the workers being so forceful when they showed interest in a souvenir. By the end, they couldn't wait to get out of there and Brynnli was in tears because she felt so overwhelmed.

After just a few days, the kids were looking very sunburned. Oops!
