Our little Brynn turned 13 months on October 23rd. We celebrated by going to the pumpkin patch that night.
At 13 months Brynnli:
-Got her first tooth! I was starting to wonder if they were ever going to come in. All of our kids are a little late in the teeth department, but Brynnli has been the latest of the three. She hasn't really been that fussy either! And you can see the tooth right next to it is starting to come in too.
-Still a picky eater, but is getting better at trying new things.
-Sleeps great through the night (most of the time)
-Learned how to climb up and down stairs, and loves to climb up the swing set.
-Is the busiest little girl. Going places has become a challenge because she thinks she can just walk all over and go wherever she wants.
-Thinks she is the boss and likes to yell at all of us. "No," "don't" and "stop" are her most frequent used words througout the day.
-Growing her vocabulary to include: Baby and Daddy. (not to be confused with Baby Daddy)
-Blows the cutest kisses. And when she wakes up in the morning she has to give Makayla and Caden a kiss on the lips.
-Loves to wave and say "hi" and "bye" to everyone she sees. It is seriously the cutest thing ever!

HannaLand in October
We headed up to Hanna Land over Fall break. It just ended up being our family, but it was so much fun!
I love that our kids will grow up here and make so many fun memories along the way.
I just love this little family of mine!I had a great idea to paint pumpkins while we were up there, but it turns out the small Hanna store didn't sell pumpkins, and we didn't want to drive all the way to Duchesne to get them. The kids were almost at full temper tantrum level because our plan wasn't going to work out until Daddy came to the rescue and had the great idea to paint rocks. Crisis adverted, thanks to Daddy!
Caden painted a scary house.
Let's see if you can guess what Tyler painted: What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs that sits on the porch?
Mat.
Good one Tyler!
Kayla painted a pumpkin, and some other rock with a lot of colors, I painted a pumpkin and a ghost, and Tyler also painted a minion. Brynnli just made a mess.
We also snuggled up every night to watch a movie. Aren't they so cute!Friday, October 9, 2015
Crazy Corn Maze with my Crazies
I must be the luckiest mom around because I got to go to the corn maze with both of my cuties this year. One of the kids' field trips is to go to the corn maze. On Thursday I went with Caden. Caden was very confused by the whole thing and couldn't figure out why we were not going to his school, and he was even more confused at why I was going with him. He kept asking me on the way, "Will we sing songs or watch movies there?"
Once we started going through the corn maze, Caden caught on and was having a blast.
I kept asking him which way we should go, and every time he would tell me, "according to my map, we need to go this way!"
Caden with Miss Shaylee
And with Miss Leslie and Miss Shaylee
Overall, the Crazy Corn Maze was a success with our little guy!
Then on Friday I got to go again with Makayla. Here she is with her cute classmates and teachers.
Selfie time!
Kayla with Miss Shaylee
And Miss Leslie and her classmate. I think he has a crush on Makayla because he kept waving to her and following her around.

Yea for Halloween fun!

We Did Other Things This Month Besides Party
Although it may seem like all we did this month was party (and we certainly did that), I took some pictures of our everyday life too.
Brynnli is busy. And she's messy. She doesn't like to sit in her high chair and throws her food on the floor every time. After she's out of her high chair she likes to eat her food off the floor...go figure!
Brynnli loves bath time. This particular night Caden was taking a bath and Brynnli decided to hop in fully clothed.
I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but Makayla has started dance again. She takes tumbling on Tuesdays and Ballet/Jazz on Thursdays. Makayla said she likes ballet better because she gets to get all "pinked up". When we get her ready for class she insists I take a picture of her... every week. I tried to explain that we don't need to take a picture of her all the time, but she didn't listen.
Oral hygiene... it's important people!
We had Oreos one night and the kids thought they were hilarious when they made their Oreo eyes.Makayla insisted on wearing her sunglasses to pre-school one day.
Before our trip to Park City we ran into the fire fighters at Wal-mart and they let the kids hop in their fire truck.
Brynnli is obsessed with climbing. She got stuck on the pantry shelf
She also loves to climb on the table.
He's a pirate, says I!
On September 27th there was a Total Lunar Eclipse. This only happens once every 33 years. We had a little Blood Moon party on the patio with Oreos. The kids were pretty excited until they actually saw it. We must have talked it up too much.
These are the best pictures I could get of it.
The kids' favorite part was looking through the "goggles" as Makayla would say and "blonca-lers" as Caden would say.
Makayla loves helping take care of her sister. The cute bond these girls have is adorable.
We'll end this month's post with a new segment I would like to call #convoswiththekids
MAKAYLA: 4 Years Old:
**We were having lunch at Panda Express and Makayla was eating her fortune cookie.**
Me: "Makayla, your fortune says, 'opportunity is knocking. Answer the door.'"
Makayla: "Unless it's a stranger. Then you shouldn't open the door."
Glad to see some of our conversations about strangers are actually sinking in.
Makayla talking to Brynnli: "I'm not a toy, Brynnli!"
CADEN: 3 Years old:
Tyler: "Caden, do you want some help?"
Caden: "Brynnwii, you can't help because you don't know how to clean up because you just make a mess."
**Tyler reading the kids a Jake the Pirate book called, "Cubby's Mixed up Map."**
Tyler: "Caden, quit playing with your dinghy."
Caden: "But I don't have a dinghy!"
Tyler: "Ya, sure?"
"I'm all churched up!"
**We've been practicing letter with Caden, and one day we were talking about things that start with the letter "G"***
Caden: "Ga, Ga, Ga... Enchawada!"
**Caden trying to get our attention**
"Can you pwease stop tawking and wisten to me?"
**Looking at Halloween costumes**
Me: "Caden, are you sure you want to be a pirate? We can look at other stores"
Caden: "Yes, yes, I want to be a pirate, says I!"
BRYNNLI: 1 year old:
You know you are the youngest child when your first words are, "DOP!" (Stop) and "DOH!" (Don't)
